Plymouth NH -New Hampshire born Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness hospitality and innovations are signified by their signature product, the Worlds only “Arrive & Drive” stock car driving experience specifically designed for disabled Vets & physically challenged civilians.
Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness explains, “We came off the road from our last event and realized it was time to do what we have fun doing, breaking down barriers and creating opportunities”. Hanaford continues, “More then 4,100 miles on the road and not one lap in the racecar left a lot of time to contemplate, 'what purpose do we serve'. Weather FORECAST & No film crew cast a cloud over our expectations and put our focus on PLAN ”B”.
PLAN “B” Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness reaches out to forge a relationship with STEM Educational programs (Science-Technology-Engineering-Math) that are currently addressing core education throughout the country. Their GOAL is to produce quality students that have engaged in STEM programs powered by iRacing.com as a FUN learning tool to gain a deeper understanding of physics through motorsports and inspiration to follow educational paths that prepare for a career in industries that are craving gifted students.
STEM co-founders flew in from a meeting at the capital, in addition to 2 time World NASCAR iRacing World Champion to consider opportunities to join their mission that is accepted into public schools. Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness also employs iRacing software that is a common thread to promoting a big vision, in order to introduce software designed to change the antiquated face of drivers education as we have known and practiced it for nearly 100 years, for BOTH Ambulatory and physically challenged persons.
The mission is to network together and provide an equal opportunity for physically challenged civilians, and ambulatory persons to participate in the “CHALLENGE” -to earn a chance to drive at race tracks across the country, attend sporting events or other shared activities, BUT earn money to support the common cause at the same time.
“CHALLENGE” is designed in the foot print of Dan Pallotta's plan, more commonly referred to as 3 Day Bike Ride For AIDS and/or 3 Day Walk For Breast Cancer. Hanaford concludes, "There is no apparent reason to go on the road to provide a service, when we have Dr from the VA hospital writing scientific papers and presenting the benefits to his colleagues at international conventions. However, in order to deliver awareness of product and services we need to put our-self in front of cameras and end users to share Freedom, Hope & Inspiration. Theres much more then meets the eye of fast cars and movie stars, this program has benefits that stretch beyond the boundaries of any speedway and its a simple story that is quickly gaining global interest."
