About us:

603 Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness has developed a unique driver education system for the disabled that uses simulated and real-life driving experiences to instill independence, improve quality of life and rebuild lives.


Our products and services:

603 Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness delivers a quality driver training experience by working with individuals in safe, controlled environments that allow them to master skills at their own pace, boosting the likelihood of success. 603 offers two core products – video gaming and a unique driver education program. Both products incorporate the signature race car driving experience.

To get technology for accident avoidance training into the hands of 

our soldiers, first you have to have good models for road surfaces 

in military operations so that the vehicle dynamics is accurate enough to

Adaptive  & Wellness Classroom - Internship Engagements:

        Driver Education and Training Program:

1. The adapted racecar with safety features was developed  in 2007 and has been used for multiple events to allow persons with disabilities the therapeutic benefit of racecar driving. The racecar is modified with removable door skin structurally approved roll cage that opens like a car door and swivel seat for easy transfer in and out of the racecar in addition to different configurations of steering wheels that are interchangeable for different levels of disabilities electronic and mechanical push/pull gas and brake push button smart shift transmission and dual controls on instructors side for safety; dual steering, dual brake, dual gas. 

2.     Guided experience: Specialized educators guide participants through advanced level skills and introduce training vehicle, while implementing the Driver Skills Development Program found to reduce crash rates by fifty percent.

3.  Simulation: The VXP driving simulator is modified with the same hardware that is found in the racecar and passenger cars traveling on the highway today. Using software tested and proven in rehabilitation hospitals, VXP introduces basic skills needed to regain confidence in a controlled environment, making for a safer, easier transition to real-life driving 

4.  Racing: Our signature component allows participants the opportunity to drive an adaptive stock car on a short track. This is truly a life changing event for the drivers.

Manufacturing and Distribution 603 Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness strategic plan bases access to services and product on funding commitment and interest from Veterans Health Care groups & Community Based Adaptive Sports organizations. 

Development Model: Veteran's Health Care and Community Based Adaptive Sports organizations is a development model that grew from the 2007 initial launch -encompassed 20 key markets throughout the country- followed by a nationwide roll-out5 years later that recognized more then 175 active community based clubs. 

Strategic Plan603 Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness Manufacturing & Distribution plan to identify & solicit the same 20 key markets VA & Community based adaptive sports targeted to launch their program and grow in the same manor they did to reach more then 200 active community  based clubs to connect product & services with clients. 

Objective: 603 Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness expand race experience program and VXP virtual racing module by finding sponsors and partners that can bring together the financial product, and marketing resources to help continue to create compelling motorsport experiences for disabled people of all ages

Goals:
  • Generate greater awareness for the needs of disabled persons and their right to enjoy motorsports.
  • Provide donor racing cars for handicapped driver control conversion for Adaptive motorsports use.
  • Underwrite outreach cost for taking programs across the country.
  • Expand the reach of the VXP virtual racing sim to more hospitals and care facilities.
  • Activate NEW racing programs for VA / Wounded Warriors and Community based Adaptive Sports Groups.
  •          Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness strategic plan is to follow the trail blazed by Veterans Health Care groups & Community Based Adaptive Sports organizations.

Sponsorship development (non-endemic)
Secure major corporate partners to expand the marketing reach and national presence of disabled racer programs, including vehicle demonstrations, driving practice, racing, instruction, in addition to securing sponsorship for VXP simulation module expansion to as many facilities as possible

Sponsorship development (endemic)
Secure partners that can donate parts, equipment, track time, for use to deliver programs, product,  and services donations can help underwrite program cost
Marketing Plan Create marketing plan that can take the program to the next level, increase brand awareness,  positively influencing consideration for program and services.

Fundraising "CHALLENGE" is a fundraising plan designed in the foot print of Dan Pallotta's highly successful regional programs, commonly referred to around the water cooler at work or dinner table as 3 day bike ride for AIDS & 3 day walk for Breast Cancer.  Individuals qualify for a variety of incentive prizes rewarded at different fund raising levels:

  • Fundraising software, including personal web pages, sponsor page and form letters to reach out to family & Friends.
